Broken Mirrors

Do we feel broken because we are, or do we feel (broken) because we think wrong about WHO and HOW we are?

Are we even right about ourselves? Isn’t most of the population constantly underestimating themselves? And since we underestimate ourselves at things that actually matter, we then simply go for “proving ourselves”? Sometimes we actually overestimate ourselves in THAT process. Many a tragedy is an outcome of this formula.

If my observation is true, it sort of follows that we are a broken society.

So why do we seek advice and acceptance from each other?

Why create this psychological interdependence when independence should serve us best?

Why are we so strange yet so full of ourselves?

Do we want to perpetuate in the same manner?
